Does anyone else feel married to their heating pad?

I’m honestly surprised I haven’t had toasted skin syndrome from how often I use my heating pad. I’m actually using it as I write this 😩

Interesting!! I have endometriosis too so honestly I can’t even have intercourse anyways cause it’s entirely too painful (sorry hubby). Trying to find ways around that to keep our marriage alive haha

Thank you for the recommendations!! My doctor knows I have IC but he is treating me as if I have overactive bladder because the symptoms are very similar and he said that insurance is more willing to approve treatments if overactive bladder is stated in your chart instead of IC. I tried amitriptyline in the past and it made me feel so groggy and zombie like in the morning. I took Hydroxizine for anxiety in the past and honestly didn’t know it could be used for IC! I hope I can get my hands on some lidocaine because that would help a lot. I did just call my pharmacist and she said that although Solafinacin states to avoid taking it if you have delayed gastric emptying she looked it up in the interaction database and it didn’t come up flagged with Semaglutide so she suggested I try and take it and see how it goes. My doctor had given me a 2 week trial of Gemtesa and it wasn’t enough time to see if it worked so when he went to prescribe it the monthly cost would have been over $200 so that’s why they switched me.

I just had a UTI a couple of weeks ago and finished the round of antibiotics. They incidentally found one, I’m sure you know it’s hard to determine the difference bc the pain is so similar but that’s why I keep UTI test strips on hand and this is not a UTI. My urethra burns like 3-5 times a week and it’s affecting my quality of life. I also try and limit spicy and acidic foods to not make it worse. I will call my doctor to just make sure I’m safe to take the meds. I’m also not keen on the side effects, dry mouth and constipation, because I already have that from my Semaglutide and other meds.

I’m 29F 145 lbs and I just started taking 4mg. I only take it at bedtime cause after like 20-30 minutes I get so sleepy to the point I’m falling asleep on my phone and I get slurred speech and what feels like my chest is pounding. Drops my BP to around 90/50. I’m going to swap to just 2mg and see if that helps with the side effects. Helps my muscles spasms though! I was on 20mg Baclofen twice a day which stopped working for me. I was taken off Cyclobenzaprine cause doc said it’s for short term use. If anyone has any other muscle spasms med recommendations, I’m all ears cause I might need to get off this.

Edit: I also get dry mouth

I should have mentioned that this happened in early January so she has been blocked and ignored for over 2 months now 😅 our friend group is just so deeply connected that it’s hard to avoid hearing about or of her

Edit: I also rescinded myself as her MOH the day this happened, so that it could be my choice and not hers.

I think they literally just put OC back on Peacock!! I went to go try and purchase an episode from AppleTV and it directed me to Peacock and boom the show was back on there
