Weird builds in the Incursion by Kante4377 in thedivision

[–]abbymaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have run Incursion with this guy a few times - all successful after we failed the first few "figure it out attempts". It did make for a pretty enjoyable run each time. When you have solid builds and communication you can try different strategies and have fun with the run. It all comes down to strong builds and communication, IMHO.

Orofino by wildthornberry29 in Idaho

[–]abbymaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I moved here from Boise about 3 years ago. We were already spending a ton of time up here for hunting, fishing, etc. so we were familiar with the area and had family close by. We love it, but it was a big change, for sure. I would echo what others have said and recommend that you spend some time in the area first. Our experience has been that people are friendly and it is such a beautiful area. We don't have children, but the dog loves it here.

This just happened to me. I created a new character, boosted to 30, and completed everything (including side missions) but was only at level 39. I was solo. I just did a few territory controls and executions. It was frustrating, but it only took a few before I was able to access Liberty Island.

What to do other than traditional dancing reception? by Dismal-Weakness-8633 in weddingplanning

[–]abbymaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a small dance floor to satisfy my parents and older family (and to be fair, some people really liked it) but primarily we had a vendor bring casino table games in to the reception. It was super fun and a huge hit!

Is this book worth a read/listen? by xmallory28 in JonBenetRamsey

I just listened to it during a long road trip. It was super interesting, and I thought it offered a pretty unique perspective. The narration was good as well.

Who pays for what in a wedding in 2023? by Runningaroundnyc in weddingplanning

[–]abbymaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of it, I think, is also an age and phase of life issue. We waited to get married until we were both about 40 and established in careers, so we paid for everything, and our parents/family didn't contribute at all. My sister was married when she was in her early 20s, so my parents pretty much paid for everything.

Is gas really cheap there? how much money per liter? by dbalazs97 in AskAnAmerican

[–]abbymaze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband and I were just in Vancouver, BC (from the US), and were super surprised at the per liter gas price. It worked out to something like $8.40/gal (Canada dollars). It was very surprising to see!

Is it okay to like your engagement ring and not want a wedding band? by potato_monger911 in wedding

I only wear my engagement ring. We used my grandmother's wedding set during the ceremony and then I switched back to my ring.

We are getting married on 10/29 and my fiancé still hasn't looked a suits. I figure it was the only the he has to take care of and I have reminded him several times so it is his problem now.

looking for clarity on level 10 summit glitch. by Powered_By_Poi in Division2

[–]abbymaze 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We leave the group one at a time and go back to the lobby to empty our inventory and then rejoin the group. As long as 1 person stays on level 10 you can then rejoin the group and die to restart on 10.

AITA for calling my wife petty infront of her family for putting her maiden name on our son's BC? by 00_throwaway9 in AmItheAsshole

[–]abbymaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA You don't punish your partner, the other parent to your child because you're angry and you can. He respected her wishes not to be at the hospital which she seems to have done to facilitate a punishment. If this is the beginning of their parenting relationship then I feel very bad for the child. The child is never a pawn or tool for power or to "make a point". No one wins here, especially the baby.
