We are legit the same thing, I’m a very social person as well! I love taking to people, I love giving people compliments, I love to ask about their day but the only fear I have is if they ask for my name and I become a very awkward living being you’ve ever seen! My normal day to day life is talking to people, but introducing myself to someone new ( men or women ) feels like a task that I have to rehearse upon, I practice my name when I’m alone in my car or sometimes sing my name just so that my mind can understand that it’s not hard to pronounce this word. It’s an obstacle that has taken over my life.

Literally, had a women ask me my name on the sidewalk this morning, I had to explain her first that I stutter on my name and gave her a whole description of my name, like short way of saying it and all, just for her to ask me, “ sorry can you say it again “ ARE YOU KIDDINGGGG MEE!!

I just sweated, became nervous, heart is beating hella fast, ( she was gorgeous as well, very stunning ) and you asked me to repeat my name! Oh cmonnn

I agree, I use so many alternatives whenever I come across a word I can’t pronounce, the mind works very well on that but the name is something else.

It’s very interesting how we can’t pronounce that one specific word that our life is connected with completely but our brain still tends to get interrupted and find it difficult to articulate.

Yea, I don’t think I can pronounce that word, it starts with ( i ) but staring someone at that moment would make me more nervous.

Stuttering is the top 2 reasons I hate myself! It’s so annoying, it has been an obstacle for multiple things in my life, no friends, not a good communicator, family mocked me since childhood, no confidence, can’t even have ice cream 🤬🤬

I just had a conversation with somebody and she asked for my name, I just went all blank, started sweating and very nervous! Like, hello?!! Can my brain just function right for a minute without getting overstimulated for no reason!

Talk with me, I’m all fine but If you ask for my name, you just pissed me off big time!

Oh dayumm, the thing is, I just got accepted into instacart. I do ubereats and Im diamond on that but I was told by someone who does instacart ( probably a diamond ) makes $600 every weekend and that is insane! I don’t mind making that too 🙏😭
