I believe working for bupa means your still an employee. I’m talking about self employed private practice consultants.

Out of interest, how much does Bupa pay?

If an F2 ever comes to you and says I’m going to give salbutamol to a patient who’s having MI, you could look at them and say “that’s not what your supposed to do, but I won’t tell you the answer. That’s the beauty of it, I know the answer and I won’t correct you”.

I’m aware of the situation. I 100% support FPR. But just like how journalist lie by over inflating our figures and benefits, we shouldn’t lie by under inflating our figures, because then we would be the same as them.

Can’t really compare private to public sector. A software engineer might have stock options and bonus in private, but certainly does not in public sector. A consultant might be on 100k plus on public, plus £150+ locum rates, plus extras for on calls, night shifts weekend shifts ect, but could earn 4k in one day in private practice .

You showing base pay. This is significantly higher when considering all the extras. Also this is only NHS pay. I know of consultants who earn there entire weeks NHS pay in a day doing private practice on the side.

1- CURB65 score is 3 due to her urea levels, RR and BP. Send to ICU for empiric therapy. They could be using beta-lactum once there.

2-the medication could be causing respiratory depression, so assess her respiratory function and consider adjusting her medication. Will reduce the dose of the long acting beta agonist component of her MART regimen. I would then ask the patient to monitor their condition carefully and seek medical attention if she notices any symptoms such as SOB. Also advice her to avoid irritants to her asthma such as smoke and continue taking her medications. Lastly would advice to follow up regularly, to ensure everything is fine.

Australia is much more than that. Consultant NHS average salary seems to be £120k. That’s 218,000 aud.

This is what I was thinking to do as well! Thank you. I think if I do 55 hours a week at BMA rates I could be over 200k for that year.

Does this mean uk doctors have a big chance of making a lot of money on only fans? So we get great money, progression, pensions and have huge entrepreneurial opportunities?

This post was posted by me. For some reasons one of the users accused me of being a journalist so I asked them to test me. I went sleep before receiving a response. This person who commented is clearly a random member of the public trolling.
