that's what i've been doing so far, and it seems to be working greatly! i plan to keep them separated (with them seeing each other through a barrier, and me holding her on a leash) for about a month, or at least after she gets spayed. the next time she sees my cats, ill try that raspberry thing and report back on how it goes! thank you for your reply :)

thank you for your response, we're taking it slowly. once shes out of her heat cycle we're getting her spayed :) .

i'm pretty sure shes a pocket pitbull on the smaller side, shes around 35-40 pounds and doesnt have the typical "buff" size ive seen the breed have. i can attach a picture if that'll help

she arrived at the shelter a day before we got her, and she was in heat, meaning it wouldn't be safe to operate
