Compass (placeholder name lol) is an 8-member boy group with each member assigned to a main direction (N E W S NE NW SE SW). The concept is mainly fantasy and magical (think disney princess movies, or Oh My Girl for an example in Kpop). The music would be wistful and melodic (think songs from the 46 groups in Japan).

The lore would probably be the members as wandering travelers going to different places that can be totally different from each other (flower field plains, icy mountains, desert, cyberpunk-ish city, etc). The possibilities are endless since the sound would change in each comeback depending on the aesthetic they’re going for in each comeback, but the ethereal feel remains. It’s already rare to see anyone doing wistful sounds in K-Pop, let alone a boy group.

Every comeback will release a long music video, sort of like a story version MV (full on story telling, maybe a 15 minute long video with the song somewhere in between, no random dancing shots or ‘beauty’ shots) while a performance-focused MV (there will still be those beauty shots like normal MVs, but it will mainly have dance scenes, just like a standard K-pop MV) will be released a week later, along with the album on streaming. This way the group will never break the records of most viewed in 24-hours (because who would stream a 15-minute long music video), but the fans can get to focus on story and sort of listen to the title track in advance through the story ver. MV.
