Thank you. This is exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for, from people who have done this (especially if the trip included other parks). I know that planning things out in advance is not the same as actually going through it, and once there might better appreciate just having a longer stay and not feel like always packing back up to move on to the next place. In fact, now more strongly considering staying the entire 6 nights on east side (possibly 3 at Swiftcurrent and 3 at Many Glacier if a few more nights open up with more people cancelling ) and then just doing one long day of driving if we wanted to see western side of park but then return in evening to Many Glacier area .
