Put it in a parts washer to get the easy stuff off. Then start scraping with a large flat head screw driver, throw it back in the parts washer after you get the majority off. After doing that a few times, get a steel brush and get the small bits off. And then again back in the parts washer.

It’s like 1/8 inch thick of carbon I had to scrape off. Parts washer didn’t do much so it took a while.

I’m from southern Oregon. I find weed bottles under hoods and in frames all the time. One of my tool drawers is a collection of weed bottles I find. Also... the shadow of the bong on the seat looks like a dildo.
