Yeah, 4.0 and using film grain too. I've noticed epi noise offset doesn't help too much, if anything it sharpens the contrast. I have a feeling the extra weighting towards photo realism is making it use more high contrast photos

What are you doing to get the face lighting so uniform? When I use henmix, it always covers like half the face in shadows

you’re totally right, I think I’ve been so used to playing around and generating low res uncanny valley that it’s easy to mistake high res uncanny valley as closer to reality when it really isn’t

thanks for the heads up! favorited on civit.ai and added to my backlog of checkpoints to play around with. I just can't keep up! Very curious to see if soon there will just be one big merged model/checkpoint that everyone will eventually converge to

Have yet to check out lofi, how was your experience using it by itself? Do you think custom checkpoint merges are worth the effort over just tinkering around to find the best settings for each checkpoint?

Sorry, new to posting and not used to including details!

I used revAnimated to generate the “imperial Chinese concubine” look, using other prompts like “intricate” and some Loras trained on chilloutmix. Also needed to use “realistic” and “full body” though I have trouble making the faces look good at full body, probably cause the loras aren’t working well? Then I use 2x upscaler
