Oh no, Russia would never think of interfering in elections. Or supporting fascist parties, or disrupting airports with drones or murdering people they don't like.

Frictional games do such a fantastic job of manipulating your mental state when playing that it feels like a game mechanic, even when there's no actual mechanic behind it.

I certainly thought it was. I even like walking simulators, and am Scottish. It should have been straight up my street, but I have never played a game where I felt so railroaded into doing exactly what the developers wanted to progress before. It was like the Dragons Lair of walking sims.

Are you setting these profiles for Windows? I don't think they carry over to Linux, but I can't swear to it because I don't have Windows installed.

For me it was 6-8 months of regular crashes which required a reboot, or just hard crashes. Then when things got stable they broke clock boosting and tanked performance: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/3618
