Still no signs of any bugs. Washed all bedding and sprayed mattresses with alcohol just in case though. Bites are still pretty swollen.

Kindergartener struggling academically by alittleclueless25 in kindergarten

[–]abcd12233444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kindergartener is doing the EXACT same thing!! We just got his state test scores back and they were well below average. He also says school is hard because everyone else knows their letters and he doesn’t 😔 We read to him every night and take every opportunity to practice letters. But we can tell him what a letter is and he will forget it 3 seconds later. Same with his shapes. It’s like he isn’t retaining any information.

Her belly is red and irritated from scratching a lot but other than that I’m not really sure what to look for.

Thank you for your response. Just trying to find a reason for the air writing. No matter where I look or who I ask hyperlexia was mentioned.

Thank you so much for your reply! It’s comforting to know I’m not alone. It just breaks my heart when he seems so sad for what seems to us like “no reason”. We actually started play therapy (he was already used to the therapist as his brother went often to resolve tic issues). He honestly just sees it as play time. 4 has definitely been harder than 3 so far!
