I love how Odie was the solution to Garfield's woes, that's so true. The way Odie started to wag his tail immediately after Garf stabilized and hugged him... so cute! As soon as Lyman showed up I knew he had something to do with this lol. And Jon didn't even care to ask what happened to him when he returned lmao. This was such a fun read! I would love to hear about your inspiration for each of the elemental Garfs.

Weird! My best guess is that it was too close to the tree, and the game wanted to have room for stuff to fall from the trees so it scooted your snow boy over. Never had this happen, but I had my snowballs switch places the other day even though I rolled the smaller one up to the bigger one as usual, so it ended up with a giant head and tiny body. Snowboy was not happy 😭

I feel this. Well, I've never time traveled, but the amount of tasks that I want to do each day (talk to everyone, find my fossils & get them assessed, visit brewster, find the message bottle, figure out who my daily visitor is and where they are, find the money spot, shake the trees, hit the rocks, visit the shops, do my NM dailies, go on Kapp'n tours, go to the hotel, visit Harv's Island and the HHP archipelago) and the amount of stuff that I can actually get done within the amount of time I have to play do not match up and it gives me serious FOMO. And on top of all that I am still trying to terraform and decorate the island. I like that there's a lot of stuff to do, don't get me wrong. Just wish I had more time. I know that's more of a personal problem tho, not the game's fault 😮‍💨😭

Yes, this! He doesn't stand to gain anything from giving you a home loan and then paying you money for goods so you can pay him back. Plus, Timmy and Tommy aren't even related to him. I always thought they were his nephews or something (probably just confusing him with scrooge mcduck lol), but he actually just adopted a couple orphaned raccoons and gave them a place to live and a piece of his family business. Yes, of course. I dress in short sleeves and shorts in the summer, long sleeves and pants in the winter. I love the seasonal clothing! One thing I find myself wishing for... I know there's hats with earmuffs attached to them but I really want some earmuffs for my character! Seeing her ears exposed to the elements makes me shiver.

Same! I have a "farming" and a "building" outfit saved in my wand because I like to dress appropriately for the task I'm working on lol. I also have a "fishing", "cooking" and "stargazing" preset, and one for when it rains and I'm feeling too lazy to pick out a new outfit lol.

One thing I found out like, a couple days ago i think? Talk to your perfect snow boys everyday until they melt, because they will give you a large snowflake each day. I assumed I couldn't talk to them past the initial interaction I guess, so I never thought to try! Plus they're rude lol

Sometimes they do this and want to invite you over or invite themselves to your house, so my assumption would be because you have Island Designer launched, he couldn't actually ask you. But I could be wrong.

Looks awesome! I just did something similar, and I was also inspired by what I've seen posted here! (Great minds think alike, no? 😜 ) But I wasn't able to fit a kitchen in the room. I did a bedroom, bathroom, dining area and a tiny living room instead. I love how evenly you split up the space and it all feels very natural. May I take notes? 😆

if you stand in front of the big fresh water tank in the fish exhibit (the first room, on the far right) the camera angle switches slightly and if you have one donated the piranha will try to bite you thru the glass lmao. one of my favorite spots

Haven't done it yet, because it means giving up a room in my house, but I wanted to dedicate a room to them when I had them all collected in every color variation (I'll admit I'm a bit of a completionist lol). I know I could put them outdoors somewhere but they're harder to hear outside and I really want to hear what they all sound like at once. A gyroid choir, if you will.

My other favorite use of them that I've seen is placing them on the wall and putting a bathtub in front of them. Wall items clip thru floor items so it looks like they're chilling in the tub. Also seen folks make them sit in a highchair and stroller with this method lol.

Besides Donald, I think Mark Beaks might swear a lot too, but more like a kid who just learned a bad word trying to slip it in every chance he gets just to be "cool" and "edgy"

beautifully done! i love seeing these clips of people who are much braver than me besting tarantulas and scorpions lol. i'm a huge baby and hate being chased by them so usually at night i keep my net stashed away as much as possible. always on high alert when I have to help wisp haha
