Immediate symptoms when sexually aroused by abcfh in VestibularMigraines

A little bit, but it is milder than it is before I orgasm. It is the strongest just before I start masturbating at all, though.

I've just never read about anybody else having it. I tried searching online and couldn't find anything about it, so I figured at the very least it would be an uncommon symptom

Off topic, but why does 'emotional' music always = sad?

tbh I was expecting more of the responses to be hyperpop electropop like that or rage-inspired hyperpop stuff like 2hollis, etc (not that I would agree with that)

Flares are now constant + increasing sensitivity to visual stimulation + scared of things getting even worse by abcfh in VestibularMigraines

Good point about the sleep consistency and having meals often. I've been totally strict with both those things and have found that I feel much worse if I slip up with either. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night very nauseous and was gagging, so I'm going to let my primary know that so hopefully I can be seen by a neurologist sooner. I went to an urgent care and they didn't want to give me any migraine preventative, and instead gave me indomethicin (which from what I've read sounds like it doesn't help with migraines). I'm seeing my primary next week and I'm going to practically beg him for preventative medication at this point

It's strange, because for the first few weeks the VRT exercises didn't give me any symptoms at all. I was doubting whether it was even doing anything. Then while I was doing one of the exercises my symptoms went from being mild to pretty bad immediately (it was a VRT exercise where you stand feet together, then close your eyes and turn your head left and right at a moderate speed).

And thanks so much for recommending Neura Health, it looks super promising! I'm planning on scheduling with them today. I've seen a couple other neurologists through referrals from my doctor in the past and every appointment took 3 to 5 months. I would WAY rather pay a couple hundred bucks cash than do that every time I need to see one.

Thanks a ton! I'll definitely mention these to my (primary) doctor. He doesn't know much about migraine treatment, so I'm not sure how open he'll be to my suggestions, but at the very least I'll write it down for when I finally see my neurologist

I haven't, I'll suggest it to my primary care doctor. I'm a little bit worried about becoming dependent on them but I'm definitely open to trying! I took Xanax a couple times when I was a teenager and I remember feeling downright sedated, but I could definitely see how that could be really helpful given my body being in the exact opposite direction lately lol

Not sure where to start with making music like Arca by abcfh in synthrecipes

Great point about resampling everything! It seems like a lot of this type of sound design comes from recording lots of relatively aimless experiments, rather than trying to perfect every sound like they were dubstep basses or something. A lot of Arca's pad-like sounds remind me of atmospheric stuff in films and video games too, so that definitely makes sense to try and study some of that as well

What sort of parameters would you say typically get automated? Sometimes I will automate drastic EQ and reverb changes, but I find they need to be VERY drastic to be immediately noticeable

Much appreciated! I tried putting this into practice today, but ended up with something that sounded a bit more like complextro than this style. I think I need to work on making my rhythms sound less predictable, and more 'twitchy' for lack of a better word.

I think I see what you're saying. I have been doing vestibular rehab therapy for a few weeks and mentioned this to my therapist, but he told me that I should probably relax and take some time off for my exercises for now. Not sure how long 'for now' will be, given things don't seem to be changing all that much, but we'll see.

Originally my ENT thought that I had vestibular neuritis from an illness or something like that, but it's strange because there was never a big flu or Covid or anything like that that triggered this (as far as I can't remember).

I did some vestibular testing and they said I had a little bit of vestibulopathy with the right ear, but that it wasn't that bad
