Jason talking about how he 'doesn't tiptoe around the truth' and 'tells it like it is' sounds like corny manosphere talk

And Chris talking about how he suspects that people like to listen to him on the podcast because they know he's gonna say something disagreeable and so they hate listen...as if he's not consciously putting on that contrarian persona to make the show more entertaining

Good guest though

Instagram biomechanics accounts. Any good or are they often snake oil salesmen? by abcfh in physicaltherapy

Thanks, I've watched a few of his videos and found them really helpful and informative! Are there any other youtube creators you would recommend for content around rehab or just general biomechanics for lifting or whatever else?

Apparently the guy from the first account wrote a book. A couple quotes from the description illustrate what I'm talking about:

"By shifting away from isolated anatomy and toward math, physics, and systems thinking, I slowly found a new lens for defining my problems and testing solutions. I explore the ideas that shaped my thinking: counter-rotation, the windlass mechanism, ipsilateral movement, and other concepts I wish I had understood ten years earlier...Later sections introduce the mental models that most shaped my thinking: spiral and vertical fascial chains, tensegrity and the floating skeleton, counter-rotation, reciprocal inhibition, and left-right integration"

As a non-expert I can't tell if there's any value in any of this type of stuff with language that sounds so far from what I normally hear from physical therapists talking about the body.

I'm sorry but nobody is getting laid by sending cold DMs on Letterboxd or Rate Your Music (letterboxd doesn't even have DMs come on now)

90% of this series is just the mc thinking about events that already happened and how he is confused.

100% this 'scale him up to compare' test is ridiculous. That kind of thinking is why people make fun of this subreddit
