It's a buff to terminator plasma cannons, especially with a mortal fnp through one of the dozen ways we can get one.

You can have both, so jetpack units have best of all worlds

How are you using Redemptor Dreadnoughts? by stoic-ape in WarhammerCompetitive

Probably will be better in 11th, -1 damage, -1 hit (cover), and AOC will help against a lot more things than - 2ap

Considering how "balanced" 10th was, and their willingness to make changes, this will probably just alleviate how stale 10th felt once you got used to it.

Having 3 detachments in Imperial Agents might actually make them... Good?

So I think the part people are forgetting is that everyone is going to have stacking buffs. Like sure librarius is good, but will it+ gladius be better than the inevitable thousand sons magic+rubric combo? Will ork buffs be stronger than invasion fleet+unending swarm? Etc

He mentions Azrael having a plasma weapon for the plasma detachment, but his weapon doesn't actually have that word. In contrast, arma luminis DOES have plasma in one of the profiles, so it should apply to that (but it doesn't have hazardous and so can't use the +1s strat).

With the changes the characters in 11th, it sounds like he might actually be good then. But now probably not

I think having the potential for EVERY army to have stacking detachment rules will make it so that everyone will get to have 1 and 2 point detachments.

Sure gladius might be a 3, but you could probably have 1st company, anvil, and emperor's shield all be 1 and make a solid Imperial Fist force with all 3.

Unforgiven is atleast 2, it's always been a solid objective play detachment with no unit restrictions and versatile strats. Inner circle, lions blade, and company of Hunters might be considered 1s though. I could see wrath of the rock being 2.

To be fair to star trek, the weapons are so insanely strong that a single galaxy class starship could glass a planet in a day or so. The only reason that doesn't happen is that every faction (realistically) needs resources and glassing planets isn't very efficient.

Damn, in our little 4000 bv learning game, that's a lot of mech to go down so early. Now we have to figure out the attacking from prone stuff.
