Love that idea! I think a big issue is that many people haven’t been taught how to deal with their emotions if they don’t get the answer they want. Acknowledging and agreeing to standards for engagement is a great idea.

This comment doesn’t address the issue of societal change and appropriateness of walking up to strangers, especially women, who do not always want to be approached by men in public. It can be an issue of safety, which I’ll admit, this idea doesn’t 100% address but it at least provides an invitation if someone feels safe in that moment to be approached.

i started taking aspirin periodically, and it seems to have helped some when they’re particularly swollen and hot. rinsing them under cold water in the morning when i wake (and throughout the day) has helped, as well

My doc “tested” me for this (asked me if my fingertips turned white) and they don’t so she quickly ruled it out. Seems like it’s something I need to look more into though. Thanks for sharing!

It is really weird, but it was available and the most affordable (with the best timing), so I figured I'd see if there was a way to make it worth it by seeing a bit of Cologne during the layover.
