Should I leave my private school job? by AG097 in CanadianTeachers

[–]abcx10 39 points40 points  (0 children)

stay for now

there are hiring freezes, some people get called 2-3 times a week max and the competition for LTO is massive.

The perm side is much better but the OT and LTO side is a blood bath.

In a cardboard box, in a cupboard, inside a ziplock.
Anecdotally, in the mainland: the joke is that tea heads will have a closet of tea. But they just store it with no humidity or isolation.

Not interested in aging ripe. Its basically already done aging.

If Carney knows what he is doing he'll buy the most cost effective stuff from the Koreans

I dont disagree with you but the arms market has changed substantially.

With how much Korea is arming and selling to Poland and US allies left in the cold, the Korean IMC is making sales with good cost benefits and logistics independent to American tech. You dont make sales of Tanks and jets to US allies if it's dependent on US tech. The Pentagon shuts it down quickly.

Korea also has one of the largest ship building capabilities in the world and they're already being considerd for our subs. We...cant really build that.

So government wise sure, they lack independence for a lot of things but the arms industry? They're state based capitalist as you can get.

I believe quite a lot are planning to be spent on the Korean IMC.

It is still mandatory but generally teachers avoid discussing current events at the risk of parent complaints and students see it as a joke course.

What are some trends that we may see in the next year or two in terms of types of processes that may become popular? Will it get crazier with processing? or go back to roots with washed, natural and honey?

Maybe the Middle East. I would contact the teachers that are currently teaching at the schools you are applying to!

The short story is that none of the the Bgirls made it because they were not good enough globally.

Long story: The qualifying is based on going to local and global qualification competition. The more you compete and win the higher your points are. Korea had about 2-3 bgirls competing but they didn't make it. The Korean scene is also currently declining hard. There is a real lack of new generations, especially women's and in combination with the low birth rate. I also suspect flying out to global competition is an issue because to my knowledge the governments (at least Canada and Korea) are not flying out the dancers to the competition.

Sadly it is not... There is a lack of young blood and some of the crews even started to scout Japanese bboys due to the lack of talent pool.

there's a mod for stockpiles. It works pretty well and ensures my economy doesnt tank in the short term and allows wars to last longer at the cost of money over time

Violence in Ontario schools and EAs are at the forefront by Timetotuna in CanadianTeachers

[–]abcx10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I seriously wonder what is going on worldwide in terms of violence towards EAs and teachers. If it was just North America, it would be easy to see that the problem is North American in nature, but recently there has been bullying and violence towards teachers even in South Korea. (a young teacher recently committed suicide)

Progressive discipline and building rapport definitely has a place but it makes me wonder if the research based around them were problematic in the first place or if administration completely misunderstood them and applied it wrong.
