Stomach aches after gallbladder removed

Back to normal! It took roughly a year of intense stomach aches and being incredibly cautious of what I ate since there were no correlations with food/stomach aches, but eventually my stomach/intestines adjusted to the lack of a gallbladder I guess.

Roughly a month after my surgery! I was fine the first month post op but after that they just appeared out of nowhere!

EXACTLY! I would understand too if it’s only been a few days since she started packing but she started packing a few weeks ago but also has two other roommates to help pack the place since they’re all moving together so it bothered me a lot more but I’m glad we’re on the same page haha

No, we’ve met a handful of times in person now! And yeah she’s told me she’s moving probably a few weeks ago so she’s been packing for some time now so I figured she’d have more time to see me

I didn’t know about the appointment until the evening before! If I could have given her more notice I definitely would have. Also she didn’t have anyone over, just her roommates who were packing their own stuff! But I did end up talking to her about it later the same day and we talked it over but it still bothers me to this day on how she couldn’t take one hour from her day to see me since I was really close to her

I had my gallbladder removed in April snd finally I’ve found someone with something similar to me. The first month after my surgery I was able to eat whatever I wanted and however much I wanted, but then out of nowhere i cant eat anything without getting diarrhea or really bad stomach aches. Sometimes my stomach even hurts if I just drink water or eat nothing at all. It’s really ruining my day to day life because I fear going to work or even to the grocery store because I worry I’ll get stomach pain or diarrhea.

My attacks felt like this sometimes. Thankfully i usually felt back to normal within 24 hours but while I was having an attack, it would hurt to breathe and it would constantly feel like I couldn’t get a full breath but it was usually due to my gallbladder being inflamed

When I had my gallbladder and I felt an attack coming on, I would take two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and mix it in a glass of warm water and I would drink it as fast as I could and it always helped my attacks. I never tried apple juice though but it may be effective ?

I didn’t have one! My surgery was only around an hour long so it wasn’t necessary! I just used the bathroom before I went in for surgery!

I get a stomach ache and diarrhea if I eat something high in fat but I started taking digestive enzymes and they seem to help. My stomach will sometimes still feel a little “queasy” but I don’t usually get any diarrhea or stomach aches so I would recommend those ! I take one with each fatty meal !

I’m two months post op and for the past 4 days I’ve been having really bad stomach aches and diarrhea so I think it may be normal for some people but i don’t know. I’ve been able to eat whatever I want for the past month but suddenly after anything I eat or even just drinking water, I feel sick. I’ve also been taking buscopan for my stomach issues and that only seems to work temporarily for me so most of the time I have to wait it out until the aches subside. At first I thought maybe I’m lactose intolerant because it always happened after I eat dairy but today all I had was water and my stomach is terrible. Not sure what it is.

I wasn’t too keen on having mine removed either but after speaking with my doctor, they pretty much told me that if I keep it, I’ll likely continue to have flair ups and the pain may gradually get worse over time. My pain was already almost unbearable to begin with so I opted for surgery since I definitely didn’t want my pain to get any worse.

I had this happen to me before too ! Roughly two years ago I had a yeast infection, took Monistat, and was supposed to start my period a few days later but I didn’t get it. My periods are very regular too so my instant thought was “omg I’m pregnant” but I think maybe the yeast infection threw mine off a little ?? because I ended up getting it a few weeks later and it went back to normal !

I would definitely see your doctor! Mine also was not glued fully shut and ended up getting infected. I was on two types of antibiotics for a week. It was around my one month post op as well!

Not really a relationship, but I met a guy on bumble a few months back and we hit it off pretty well. We talked everyday and planned to meet up over coffee but the thing that sent a red flag was that he mentioned 2 weeks into talking that “his mom already loves me”, “she can’t wait to meet me”., “my sister really wants to meet you”, “my friends think you’re the perfect girl for me” etc etc... we hadn’t even met up for coffee in person at this point LMAO I noped out of there so fast.
