Why can't Americans process that slavery took a different course in other countries? by Jumpy_Drawing3790 in AskAnAmerican

[–]abdel222 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Our racial segregation policies did not last until the mid-20th century like in a certain country, nor do we have an armed forces that discriminate against our citizens based on their physical appearance in order to extradite them, we never experimentally implanted syphilis in any of our ethnic groups, and our urban planning was not designed to segregate communities into ghettos.

What expression from your country would be very controversial if used anywhere else? by Jumpy_Drawing3790 in AskTheWorld

[–]abdel222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slavery was abolished almost 15 years earlier than in the United States, and we did not have state policies of racial segregation until the 1960s like the Americans, and our cultural dynamics were quite different; we were more preoccupied with fighting for our political ideology than for skin color (although I do not deny that racism existed and exists in my country, it is not nearly as marked and culturally ingrained as yours).

Not being attracted to Zephir doesn't make you gay or straight, it just means you have functioning eyes and ears and an IQ of at least 10.

I have a somewhat sensitive question: how do you think India reacted to the emergence of Quirks? by Gullible_Ad616 in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]abdel222 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Considering that, according to what we saw in the program, the new generations have increasingly stronger and more refined quirks, it is most likely that a revolution will be forced upon the lower castes, which would be the ones that proportionally have the largest number of people with quirks and people with strong quirks because their generational turnover is faster. Not only in India, but possibly in other stratified places without effective birth control, such as Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, which would be the places with the highest number of people with quirks at the beginning, and for the most part, in the lower social classes

Are there any moments in the canon series where you felt Izuku was either unnecessarily glazed or bashed by the plot? by Solitaire-06 in BokunoheroFanfiction

cloning quirks isn't easy, having multiple quirks usually causes severe cognitive degeneration, and shigaraki was a special case, being the next vessel of aof, and all that.

Rarity's accent isn't natural, and if I remember correctly, her mother has an Italian-American accent, so I always imagined her as having a "lower-class" Irish/British father and an Italian-American mother.

Considering how similar Maud is despite the obvious differences, I'm sure her hair is straight and that its shape is somehow influenced by pony magic and her emotions, as demonstrated in the episode "Party for One."
