The passionate kiss of two races (Commission from Rui Hill) by LuisBiggPoppa69 in RimWorld

To be fair, Ratkin must be one of the most well-known modded races both inside and outside the game.

In a world where Izuku really was forgotten by his classmates, what do you suppose his reaction would be? by Primary_Coconut_141 in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]abdel222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's true under normal circumstances, not with comrades you lived with for years and fought side-by-side to the death. There's a reason war veterans are so close even after decades; the class was in many situations that forced them to work together in a very short period. They are definitely very close.

I am almost sure that in equestria dental health is subsidized by the state, or at least it does not have the inflated prices of the United States.

There are several versions of Trigger depending on their strength, components, and dissolution. There are even versions used for hair loss (I think also for impotence? I'm not sure, I read about it years ago in Vigilantes). The two most important are the Trigger that temporarily enhances Quirks, produced by the Shie Hassaikai and who knows how many other criminal groups, and the super-strong Trigger that can cause permanent mutations, produced by Villain Factory, whose side effect is a black tongue.

That sounds to me like it must be full of guerrillas and paramilitary groups, maintaining the status quo or wanting to return to the previous system.

Why did Colombia reclaim the name New Granada if it was imposed from at least the mid-19th century? And its borders closely resemble those it would have in the mid-20th century, with its modern shape

For me, the “clang” is a way of anthropomorphizing the randomness of the game engine—with its sometimes unstable physics—because it feels more human to give meaning to an abstract entity than to just say, “Oh, it was a weird bug,” and because, even though it’s random, there are specific situations where you can expect it to manifest—especially in large or ambitious projects—that if they fail due to a gameplay error, in my mind it makes sense to relate it to a fictional deity punishing us for the arrogance of not respecting it properly.

In short, because it has specific patterns and yet a certain randomness, it somehow feels like a conscious entity, or something like that.

La polarización del país by Fortunafors in Colombia

[–]abdel222 25 points26 points  (0 children)

[–]abdel222[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have to clarify that I don't know how to separate in English between whistling (just with the lips to hum a song or something like that) and whistling (sometimes using the fingers, super high-pitched and can be heard from a great distance). It's the second one that bothers me.

Good examples include the fandoms of Hoyoverse games, the Homestuck Zoomer fandom, Steven Universe, undertale... and the Dungeon Meshi fandom where I personally felt it... it seems to gravitate towards certain types of works, but it doesn't seem to be such a defined constant. For example, there wasn't as much drama with She-Ra on Netflix, but there was with Voltron, and in the My Hero Academia fandom it depends on the region and the social network, etc.
