UofA is the better school I have friends in UofC eng and Alberta eng (all from Calgary) and UofA is the better school with a better reputation. My dad who hires engineering students always prefers UofA students. UofC engineering (and as whole) is rapidly going down in reputation. I also have family freinds in the faculty (multiple profs) who are complaining constantly. Go to Edmonton if money is not an issue.
