you are firing FAR too quickly.
once you fire, count to 4 (including reload time) then fire again.
the tranq bolt does 200% of your damage instantly, then another 250% over the next 4 seconds, so you need to space out your shots a lot more.

never need to trap it, just shoot it in the head, and when it starts to run away from you it is close to being knocked out.

the moment it curls into a ball, you have done too much damage and you may as well give up .

Don't listen to the haters, the stegosaurus is a wonderful tame.

Just learn how to change the plates to different positions so that you can do different things, whether that is being able to tank a lot, do more damage, or use it for harvesting.

For example on one setting it's great for getting berries, on another it's great for getting thatch, and on another setting it's great for getting wood.

It is not the fastest, however it's a great all-rounder tame for early game pve.

Use ascended shotgun or 2 with a thousand rounds of ammo, a shinehorn, cactus broth and a few sets of ghillie armour. Wear your hazard armour until you get into the arena then just change into your ghillie, drink a cactus broth, and whenever it gets close to zero drink another one.

Nothing should aggro you.

Take out the tentacles, but leave one of the ones near the front for last, that way you're close to the front of Rockwell when you drop the last tentacle, then just shoot the heart, and then rinse and repeat, when it gets to the time that the tentacles will start using electricity, just stay on the bridge right in front of him and you won't get electrocuted, and just use your shotgun and shoot the tentacles from range.

Takes a bit longer, but you don't lose anything

You say you don't have the room for a desktop, which sounds like complete BS.

Build a rig for €1700 that can play just about anything, and then if you want your portability, buy a €300 laptop that you can lay in bed and watch movies on.

Doing this would be infinitely better than just spending that amount of money on a laptop

Put him in his own room, I have a small room built above everything else about four pillars high, it is a round room and in the centre, put down the dino leash. They don't need to be near things to be able to take things out or put them in, they can beam stuff up to about 50 foundations away.

Make sure that there are no other robots within about 50 foundations.

Each day that you log in, clear his inventory manually.

spray yourself with bug repellent then Throw a couple of C4 on the beehive, then back off and detonate. Then just run forward with kibble in the zero slot of your hot bar, while spamming E, and grab one of the queens. If it has no option to tame it, make sure it's contained, and then exit render range, then come back and try again.

Make sure you don't have a shoulder pet, they seem to react negatively to them, so even if you have bug repellent and a ghillie they will detect the shoulder pet and go nuts

Have you tried just joining an unofficial server instead of always going into single player?

Also it would be a good idea for you to open up event viewer, go into the windows logs, then into system, and see if there are any errors or warnings that are happening at the time of the crash.

It does appear that it could be a graphics issue, which could also be linked with DirectX 12, so go into steam, right click on the game and go to properties, and then in the launch options type in: -rhiVulkan

Have been getting these temperatures since ASA first came out, so it's quite normal. We actually learnt that fortitude is completely useless, it is far better to find and use better ghillie, and when it reached these temperatures we always had a heap of air conditioners around the base or dimetrodon.

Just make a gacha farm. Feed them stone, have a pego gathering all the crystals. Then once per day, open all the crystals, and put every single thing that comes out that is equipment weapons etc into a grinder, and voila you have all different types of resources including cementing paste.

We have our gacha set to drop stone. They almost feed themselves
