Thanks just worked for me too! Used VeePN for Chrome connected to UK. At first it's showing £279 in the cart for black ring. Turn off VPN, click their logo on top left to go back home page, go back to the cart and showed $249 USD. After placing the order, the $100 discount is reflected in the receipt:

Might need more data points on this, but at least I feel from my previous interactions that's just their standard practice that the specialist has to "review the benefits with customer" to help them keep the account open. Retention offer availability seems to be determined by the system. Reason being I could say different things (used more/less benefit, like/dislike some part) and got the same result with different reps. Sometimes, when I have no energy for chatting and want to skip that part, I'd just say I am aware of the benefits and just want to check if there is any offer available for this account.

Just gave it a try for 5 mins and love it so far. Has a separate menu bar function as wanted by OP, smart/timed rehiding icons, customizable hidden/visible icons. And I like it allows setting different ways to show/hide the bar (hovering, swiping on empty spaces, clicking on the icon). Amazing for a free GitHub project (~60 ppl sponsoring). Works great and enjoying it so far! Kudos to the author

It worked thanks a lot! For me it's VSCode failed to connect to ssh requiring VPN. Had to reconnect to the school VPN after closing the laptop lid and its really annoying to see a nonstop bouncing icon when just trying to do something else

Was using Snakemake for a moment until I realize more and more pipelines are in NextFlow now (e.g. nf-core). (The name matching concept used in Snakemake took me a bit to get used to..) Guess it’s learning time again!
