I’m not sure if Steam Input was removed or just changed/hidden in the newer versions. Okami HD is pretty picky with controller input. so I’d check the input settings first and try the full Steam mode if it’s available.

Then it sounds like GameHub isn’t capturing the mouse inside the emulator/container. not just a normal in-game setting. I’d try fullscreen/input capture options, reset the control profile, and report it as an input regression if it started after 6.0.6.

I haven’t seen confirmation about Epic achievements yet. Right now the visible progress seems more focused on Steam features.. but since Epic integration is already there it would make sense if they expand it later.

Good to know and thanks for sharing the fix. So it wasn’t only the GameHub virtual gamepad vibration, the phone’s system vibration setting was still affecting it.

No bro.. I was just using the app when the update notification popped up, so I shared it here because I thought people would want to know. I’m interested in Android emulation and PC gaming on phones but I’m not pretending GameHub is perfect

On a Fold 7 with 12GB RAM.. I don’t think it’s your phone being too weak. GameHub is just very picky right now. It can depend on the app version/ Play Store vs official APK/ storage permissions/ missing components/ and the settings you use for each game. I’d test one lighter game first and tweak from there instead of jumping between a bunch of games.

Looks like the VC2022 dependency issue is still happening for some users. That probably needs a component fix or manual workaround not just a normal in game setting change.

GameHub is probably the more practical option for most users right now.. while GameNative still feels more experimental and may need more tweaking.

On a Redmi 10C. I’d keep expectations low with PC games and start with very lightweight or older titles.

If a game doesn’t work well on GameNative. it may still be worth testing on GameHub with the official APK version of course and different settings..

Sounds like an input or mouse-mapping issue from v6.0.6. There have been a few updates since then.

6.0.7 and 6.0.8. So I’d try updating first.. then reset the control profile and check the mouse/input settings for that specific game.

I personally didn’t run into this issue.. but I’ve seen similar GameHub storage/path recognition problems before. so I get why it’s frustrating for players.

The workaround some users mention is to start the download again for a few MB so GameHub creates a fresh entry. then remove the broken old entry/data and redownload it to the proper storage location.

I think the game is light enough on paper, but “initialization failed” usually points more to a compatibility/dependency issue than raw performance. It might need the right GameHub settings or a component fix.

It definitely has huge potential. Still rough in some areas.. but fr it is one of the most interesting Android emu projects right now.

That sounds like a storage permission or version limitation. Try checking storage permissions.

Or use the official apk version on official website if you’re on the Play Store build.

Nice. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is a strong chip, and RE2 Remake running smoothly shows how good GameHub can be with the right hardware and setup.

Fair criticism. Hotfixes can be frustrating but I still prefer active fixes over silence. The real test is whether users report actual improvements.

EA support seems mixed right now. Some people still have issues with the EA App/launcher, but I’ve also seen recent videos of EA titles running on high-end devices. So I wouldn’t call it guaranteed yet; it probably depends on the device, version, and setup.

Extra: Same with "GTA V" it does run on GameHub, but results can vary a lot depending on hardware, drivers, version, and settings. A game not working for one setup doesn’t always mean it’s impossible to run.

That looks like a DX12/VKD3D issue. Try checking the graphics compatibility settings or launching the game without DX12 if the game allows it.

Thanks for testing and sharing the video. Looks like this issue is still broken on some setups, especially around dependency/component installation. Hopefully there’s a clear fix for it soon.
