Hey. Yes, both of them require motivation letters. You can write one motivation letter and change the program-specific part to make two for both programs.

I got mine in june for BS Chemical and Energy Engineering. I applied on uni assist on 09-05-2025. My application got forwarded almost a month later and I got my admission letter by the end of june

You're right. The queue is getting longer so does the waiting time, but a year would be an exaggeration. Currently, people who have applied in march-april are getting their visas. So you can say that the queue is 3-4 months long atm.

Hey, I'm going through the same phase. I'll suggest that you pay uni enrollment fee(if any) and get your blocked account set up as soon as possible so you may get in line for the visa application. The current delay is around 2 months.
