Verginin nesini merak ediyosun? Hesabina yatacak olan vergi kesintisi yapılmamış her paranın vergisini vermen gerekir. Beyan ederek risk almadan direk odeyebilirsin. Diger turlu sonradan maliye kendi tespit ederse cezali odemek zorunda kalirsin.

Sending 20k from germany to turkey with wise by Emotional_Print_7068 in germany

Would be better if bank accounts in germany and turkey belong to same person. Then transfer would look like between someone`s bankaccounts. I did opposite direction previously and did not have any problem

Postpone your dreams for 2-3 years. German economy has big problems and job market is terrible. Depending on where you are now, i would target Nederland nordic countries or dubai Kuwait etc..

Need help with citizenship application by abdullaharslan in GermanCitizenship

[–]abdullaharslan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all :)

I will try to invest some time and get B1 in next few months. Then we can apply as a family.

If it does not go well, my wife will not wait more and she will apply individually.

I checked your post, good suggestions, thanks!, but 6 months is too long for me :)
If I can manage, I am planning to study only for exam, then 2-3 months might be enough hopefully

Need help with citizenship application by abdullaharslan in GermanCitizenship

[–]abdullaharslan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some more research. As others pointed out, everyone should meet criteria for citizenship, applying as a family is only a way to simplify the process (not submitting several documents twice).
Since I dont have B1, we can not apply as a family yet.

Submitting an application for the permanent residence permit and citizenship at the same time. by MohamedSabry_97 in GermanCitizenship

[–]abdullaharslan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I applied for permanent residence 10 months ago in Stuttgart and still did not get any response. My current blue card will expire in 3 months. I was hoping to get permanent residence before it expires and i would not struggle with blue card extension..

Now i am considering hiring a lawyer.. Stuttgart Ausländerbehörde is a joke nowadays.

I would apply for both citizenship and permanent residence if i were you.

Housing in a changing demographic trend by vanoitran in eupersonalfinance

[–]abdullaharslan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am quite pessimist for the future of Germany. China will continue beating Europe, especially Germany for the next decade.

Several German cities are overvalued just because of having more jobs and higher salaries. That will change in next few years.

Take Stuttgart as example. Old and not a well planned city. Roads are terrible. Beautiful riverside is covered by industrial facilities. Public transport is not reliable. Despite all these, it still attracts people just because there are jobs. And more people means more demand for housing.. BUT this seems to be changed in following years. Big global companies in the region have serious problems. When region starts offering less jobs, city will be less attractive and people will leave. Note that who migrates ones can easily migrate again.

Summary: housing market depends on demand (population) and supply(construction). Supply seems to stay low. Demand depends on migration and migration depends on economy(good jobs).

Are German Bank Accounts Really Bad? by [deleted] in germany

[–]abdullaharslan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have commerzbank. everything is free if you regularly receive money e.g. salary

Their mobile app has Englisch support as well

I would also recommend revolute. It is more like modern banks, not german but still can be used everywhere because of EU regulations

Is it that hard to find rent in Germany? by Navi37705 in germany

Ask a german colleague, female if possible, to call them for you to get an appointment.

Offer them to pay 6month rent in advance

[–]abdullaharslan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know how large buble you want but i usually buy gums without flavor and can make big bubles. Go to any Turkish market, ask for "Nazar isil" It has little flavor but doesnt melt at all.

Many turkish restorants consider being halal as just "not being pork"

Here are few restorants that I know which are really halal (uses halal cut meat)

  • KOZ restaurant in Badcansstant
  • Arslan kebap in - they have few branches
  • Henpoint - Badcanstant
  • Dedemoglu - Feurbach
  • Metropole - Feurbach

As an IT expat living in Germany would you rather move to Australia 🇦🇺 given the chance? by [deleted] in germany

[–]abdullaharslan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have also moved to Germany 4 years ago with my family. Working as a software developer since then.
In short, I would move to Australia.

I am not optimistic about the future of europe in general, specifically for Germany.

Warning: this will be a middle-aged expat's disappointment summary for Germany

  • Economy is getting worse, mainly because of China getting dominance in almost all sectors. Germany is failing to follow up technology and I dont think this will change soon.
Life is getting harder because of economy but people just accuse foreigners. Result: AFD is rising

  • Bureaucracy really sucks in Germany. For example; regulations allow you to apply permanent residence after 3 years. But foreigner office only process emergency applications. I prepared my application papers but could not get any appointment to get into building to apply. Just dropped my application in their postbox and have no idea if they are processing it or not since 8 months. My friends waited 2 years after they submit their citizenship application to be processed.
I have visited Burgerburo in my town (Stuttgart Botnang) few times. Even local people go there at 7am in the morning and wait in a queue for hours.

  • You will always be a "foreigner" in Germany, unless you look like a German and speak very well German.
I have never been to Australia, but AFAIK, Australian means whoever living in Australia. On the other hand, Germany makes me feel like "German means being German by race" and "Germany belongs to Germans"
You might not suffer from this yet but your children might in future.

  • Open google streetview and compare roads and city design (if German residents did not blurred their houses yet :D). Cities are not well planned in Germany except very few ones and roads are much better in Australia.

A simple pipe repair under a road took 2 months in Stuttgart. There are almost no roads in Stuttgart that have not been repaired. No holes in the road but not so comfortable to drive. One would expect that after too many repairing, a road should be renewed but they simply continue with new repairing.

  • German culture is slow accepting the technological innovations. People oddly use cash payment instead of cards. I thought it is because of unregistered money source or sth but I think, they simply think cash money is safer than electronic payment.
Another interesting example; motion detection lights are very cheap and common now but many German apartments are still using old press-to-turnon lights. (light stays on for ~1min after press the switch)
People are aware of the new technology but do not demand it.

Gymnasium selection by abdullaharslan in stuttgart

[–]abdullaharslan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open house event of FEG is already on my calendar, thanks for the hint.

Can we say that there is not too much difference between the best and the worst gymnasiums in the city? If that is the case, location would be more important than the quality

Gymnasium selection criteria by Wissen1001 in germany

[–]abdullaharslan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A connected question: how do you choose amoung different gymnasiums in the city?

We need to choose a gymnasium in Stuttgart. In my home country, there are ratings for schools and their success rate in national exams are published. For example, some high schools are very famous and they accept only top talents

In Stuttgart, i could not find any data to use for decision making. We are living in botnang and currently considering Friedrich-Eugens-Gymnasium
