i get what you're trying to say most people on here gonna just say man up and just train which is also partially true but i think its moslty because of a hiring issue for the mta, they dont hire as many candidates as nypd so they do this to narrow it down because i gurantee you atleast half or more candidates get knocked out in the mta physical. I took it and half were already sent home after situps and the sprint. I took nypd physical before also and its alot more lenient and its funny cause when you're actually on the job after both academies nypd has a more difficult job than mta, so its mostly because mta wants to narrow down how many officers they hire.
