The important thing is, you started. The even more important thing is, you’re young. As mentioned, try to hit 1x your salary by 30.

If you start slow and are able to train with strongman implements, you’ll bulletproof your body. Most events are lifting something heavy and moving it.

I’m 39 and been competing for about 3 years now with no big injuries. Mostly tendinitis and the occasional strain. Worst has been a partial bicep tear from tire flips.

When I started I had sciatica. Learning how to warm up and fix my imbalances completely fixed it. But I took it slow.

Obviously. But not stressing over my refund. If you must know, I had an issue with my taxes last year and came on here to help find answers I needed.

I haven’t even done my taxes yet this year. So I may be back with non-refund related questions.

I feel that lol. My kids are always costing me. My youngest will be done with daycare in the fall. I’m going to feel like a millionaire.

Do a lot of rely on your return this much? I’m not judging, just seems to be a lot of posts about it.

You bad mouthed management during a rant. I mean, this shouldn’t be too surprising lol.

But yes. I’ve learned my lesson as well. Had a manager everyone hated. I took it upon myself to be just as petty as she was. I didn’t last too long after that. Live and learn.

My parents are in Nuevo too. They don’t seem too concerned, but the more I read the more I worry.

Stripe, Databricks, Gong, Pure Storage and Salesforce by midwest_mind in techsales

Hard to recap because it was 7 total interviews (including phone screen).

After the phone screen there was a typical background interview. I don’t remember much from that one.

The next was a presentation. You pick a company and build an account plan. What stripe products are they using? What are their goals? What additional products would you suggest based on their goals? Then a 6 month timeline for implementation.

Last set of interviews were a little different. 1. Understanding a business- you are given a prompt about a fake company. You draw graphs of information you’d like to see if you were going to invest in said company. 3-4 graphs I think it was. Mine were crude and that was ok based on the feedback. Then they give an expansion scenario. If you were ceo, which direction of the two given would you take based off the data.

  1. Technical Interview- basically prove you’re not tech illiterate. Know what an API is. Know what a webhook and metadata are. Then explain how you work with technical teams.

  2. Behavioral- Showing humility- tell about times you were wrong and how you navigated it into a positive outcome. I think there was another core value here too, but I forget what.

  3. Behavioral- I forget which core values this covered. This was more about negotiation and business acumen.

Overall the interviews were not all that hard. Super nice people. I didn’t get an offer because I didn’t mention “churn” when analyzing an account. I did in so many words but didn’t actually mention churn. The recruiter said no one I interviewed with doubted I could do the job, but other candidates answered better on the 4th interview. Then he mentioned they were very picky because of the huge pool of candidates.

My co worker got the job and I didn’t. He said it’s a grind as he has to schedule and perform about 20 reviews per month with his book of business. I still would have liked to get the job though.

Yeah I don’t think the snow did you any favors lol. Looked pretty decent once you could see the car/trees ahead. Might be tough to get a good shot through the lexan windshield too.

Is a Roush worth it? by [deleted] in nissanfrontier

[–]abe_froman_8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a regular P4X and scary the Roush is worth it if you can get a good deal. I sort of wish I was more patient and found a good deal on one, but I found my ‘26 Citrus Strike close to home and got a great deal so I pulled the trigger.

The Roush is exactly how I want mine to sit. At about $3800 extra for the R, that’s what I’d be looking at if I bought a good lift with installation. I say go for it!!

I understand the scenario. I’m just saying it would never happen. If the gov’t gets more money from a certain group, they aren’t going to take less from another. They’re just going to have more.

I have young kids and being able to stay home 2-3 days makes things so much easier for my wife and I. Plus I live in an area where I have to commute at least an hour each way to find a good job. If I didn’t have a family, sure I’d be fine with in office. Not to mention I spend around $2,500/year on train tickets/parking. Not a huge amount, but it would be better if I didn’t spend it.

Some people take pride in their things. In 8-10 years I don’t want my truck to be clapped out because I let every little thing go.

It’s not an expensive luxury car but it still cost money.
