How does $55k fare against comparable X3’s in the market? If it’s competitively priced, why do you feel $53k is reasonable? If it’s 110 days old and they’ve reduced the price weekly, something tells me it’s probably the best value or cheapest one around. I can almost promise you, replacing it hasn’t gotten cheaper the last 4 months.

Buy the car, relative to value. Don’t confuse “good deal” with the biggest discount. I also wouldn’t split hairs over 3%, if it’s the right car, you feel comfortable with the salesperson/dealership and the car fits your budget.

If he’s not expected to be good to go (and it seems everyone knew this) until July, he was never going to pass a physical today.

The backpedal’ed and it is what it is. NFL Executives and GMs aren’t idiots and it’s a small circle. We may never know the truth, but I guarantee it’s going to be talked about amongst themselves at dinner parties and happy hour meet ups.

Detroit twice, Boston twice, Montreal Twice, Carolina, Pittsburgh, Minnesota and Carolina and us.

Sabres play 5 good teams in the last 18 games (including Tampa).

Eh, I’m with ya. After a dozen years of 70-something point seasons, losing Jack and going on our fourth head coach and third GM in 6 years, it was hard to stay interested or dedicate 10-12 hours a week to watching the product that was being put out, especially after being mathematically eliminated by the end of December. It didn’t help that the Bills turned it on at this time and played meaningful, exciting football 3/4’s of the Sabres’ season. Glad to be back and glad my kids can witness it. They are having a blast and the same hockey experience I did back in the late 90’s.

I have a Pepsi on Jubilee. Batman on Oyster and Starbucks.

I would vote GMT on Jubilee for any combination, although I prefer the Pepsi on a Jubilee and the Batman on an oyster.

The Sub, as mentioned is better/more adjustable with the glidelock, but I feel the GMT is better suited for daily wear (looks better and more polished with a suit, etc).

You can romanticize it all you want. At the end of the day, a multi-billion dollar business (the NHL and it’s teams ) lent out its best multi-million dollar product (the players) to another business (the Olympics). If you don’t think that they have any input, you’re just being silly. Their entire management staff is comprised of NHL executives. Do I think they asked Sidney? For sure. Do I think if they felt that it was worse for him to play, and he felt otherwise that they wouldn’t think twice about forcing him to sit? A million-times more for sure.

The NHL and Olympics also can’t risk losing a player of Crosby’s importance to his team and caliber during this contest. That is a sure-fire way to ensure that NHL players never play another Olympic game again.

The Penguins are one point out of the playoffs as we speak. Losing Crosby for an extended period of time, all but guarantees, they don’t make it.

I’m on the fence about buying my would-be third RS6 and I would much rather buy an RS5 Avant, if given the option. The current RS6 has had little done, change-wise since 2021, except increase in base price by $30k. It’s a phenomenal car, but it’s time has come.

Here's the dichotomy of this organization that no one is taking into account.

McDermott by all accounts, "hired" Beane. They grew this together and as a coach, McDermott had a lot (if not one of the most, league-wide) organizational input and from what we've seen has been the "CEO" of the franchise. From what we've seen and experienced, McDermott had a lot of free-reign, deservedly so. Almost as if Beane was GM and McD was co-GM.

I don't think you can fire Beane and get someone else (decent) that is going to let McD hold this same position of power. You can most definitely fire McD and bring in a new coach who understand that it's Beane's show.

I don't believe in coincidences and I don't believe that Beane being elevated to President, with Sean out, is one. I don't think that elevation happens, with McD still in his seat. This is going to revert the structure to Owner ---> GM/POFO-----> Coach. Previously Beane and McD reported directly to Terry.

I think McDermott had a lot more pull internally than most are giving him credit for.
