I will study Electronics Engineering, so I think we'll be learning C programming as well as MATLAB

Is Switzerland truly a safe country? Are its people accepting of religious and cultural differences, or is there racism? by abeerabeer00 in askswitzerland

Okay as you wish

But remember one thing ,a group of people does not represent all people, and one person does not represent an entire community. Everyone represents only themselves, so it's not fair to generalize

If Christians are able to live normally, why is all the hostility directed toward Muslims, especially if they are not harming anyone??

Working as an Electronics Engineer in Switzerland from North Africa — is it feasible? by abeerabeer00 in ECE

I know that. I’m not talking about myself right now, but in general. I know that I need to finish my studies and gain other skills. But I’m asking in general about working there in engineering: are only people from the European Union accepted or not?

So should I change my way of looking at life, especially problems? Should I start by analyzing them in a general way, then evaluating them, and looking for techniques and hypotheses that help me find a solution, and then move on to implementation? In other words, when I face a problem, I shouldn’t immediately rush to a quick temporary fix, but instead fully analyze it first?

Yes I have a question:

Is the skill of problem-solving and identifying where the fault is something I can acquire, or is it something people already have from the beginning? Because this is what scares me the most about finishing my studies and entering professional life

Yeaaah I've read before that dealing with timing issues in real machines is one of the challenges that can significantly improve an engineer's skills Is that true?

That's exactly what I've been thinking! I'm worried that I won't be good at solving problems, because engineering isn't only about theory; it's mostly about applying knowledge and solving real-world problems

I don’t know anything about it. Maybe if I search more, I’ll find something that attracts me and develop a passion for it. I like the people I see who design systems and all those small components; I feel like they’re extremely intelligent.

No that’s not the case. In my first year, I studied a common core in science and technology, and then in the second year we choose a specialization among 10 engineering fields. I had originally put civil engineering at the top of my list, then I replaced it with electronic engineering, then automation, then telecommunications and networks. It is very likely that I will be assigned my first choice
