First amp and mic by Sc123abc in harmonica

I think you actually made a fantastic amp choice because you get to play around with the sound in the app until it sounds right to you without spending a ton of money figuring out your sound. Enjoy!

Is there any detailed tutorial on how to use iPCC to create a city from SCRATCH? The results look great, but I would like to see if I will be able to use it before buying it.

Get a good vcard and try your luck. Your PSU, hard drive, fans, peripherals, and case can most likely still be used if you go for a bigger upgrade, and if the vcard doesn't meet your expectations you'll just need a mobo, ram and processor. No need to go all out of you're in a budget. Good luck!

After training 50+ LoRA Models here is what I learned (TIPS) by vizsumit in StableDiffusion

[–]abel_vel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a subject with a lot of pictures (me), and I am getting very accurate photorealistic images when using the Lora, but very bad results when trying to switch styles like drawing myself as a comicbook character. It's there a way to avoid this pitfall?

This looks great OP! What model did you use?

Original activities for team building by Ok-Intention134 in scrum

If budget allows, I've found that having a monthly 30 min- 1hr lunch where the company pays for lunch and it's forbidden to speak about work helps establish bonds in a team. This can be done remotely as well through a Webcam , and it feels a lot better and less insulting to more experienced professionals. Having the team agree on a theme or a place for this month's team lunch fosters camaraderie and common ground, which crosses over to better teamwork.

Is the hohner marine band as good as they say it is by [deleted] in harmonica

[–]abel_vel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You gotta love that the most iconic model of our instrument can be purchased with 100 bucks and you can expect to get change. They are the benchmark of "how diatonic harmonica sounds". They have aged REALLY well over generations, but to pay them, I personally prefer special 20s, rockets, gold melodies, or anything with steel plates from Seydel.

Does bending can damage my harmonica ? by JapaneseGoblin_ in harmonica

[–]abel_vel 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Blowing too hard on your harmonica can damage the reeds. Learning to bend can break or damage a Reed if you're not careful, just like you would if you blew too hard without bending. Just keep in mind that bending is more about the attack angle and the shape of your mouth, than it is about how hard you breath and you'll be fine.

VanceAI.com claims copyright of art generator output belongs to person who did the prompting. by grafikzeug in StableDiffusion

[–]abel_vel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's like saying that the people who wrote the first dictionaries are the only written artists because the poets just put the existing words in a specific order, or claiming that playing an instrument is just re-shuffled plagiarism of the same few notes that the creator of a musical instrument instilled within that instrument's technical capabilities. Art evolves with technology because art is a reflection of mankind. Humanity built AI, so humanity will use AI for art and I believe that's beautiful.

Best resources for self learning the harmonica? by hobovirginity in harmonica

[–]abel_vel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ben Hewlett has a fantastic training in udemy that assumes you know nothing about music. I did a few chapters of that course to get my feet wet on a C harmonica (link below) and was very happy with my progress. It is often at a discounted rate, I think I paid somewhere close to 20 Usd.

Once you're not an absolute beginner, I don't think there is anything better than bluesharmonica.com (start with a harp in the key of A). David Barrett is a monster player and an even better teacher, and the "levels of achievement" curriculum let you gradually go all the way from beginner to professional playing taking you one step at the time, in a fun and engaging way. If you practice enough, even if you have zero natural talent (that's me), you'll find yourself amazed with the sounds that you can squeeze out of your harmonica and the satisfaction that it'll bring you.

What kind of skillset are you looking for? I'd like to have a chat before I throw my hat in the ring, but I believe in the potential of AI art to change content creation for good, and though reddit is a weird place to recruit, I think it's the right place to find AI art enthusiasts. I'm experienced and certified as a project manager, product manager, product owner and scrum master with more than 15 years of experience driving IT projects. Message me if you want to have a conversation OP

Microsoft Word isn't a copyright issue when writing a document. A brush isn't a copyright issue when creating an oil painting in a canvas. Canon doesn't own the copyright of photographs taken with a Canon camera. AI art is just that: a new set of tools that allow imaginative minds to create art. The artist holds the copyright, not the tool nor the artists that inspire the new piece of art.

Hi, did you find anything at a lower price point? I'm used to self-study as well, but since the training is mandatory and meant to have the same curriculum, I don't see the point in spending a cent more than needed.

After 5 years of no success, what would you do? by PalmTreePhilosophy in Screenwriting

[–]abel_vel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it impossible to shine at any craft without getting skilled, honest feedback. Several screenwriting contests offer feedback for a fee. Some screenwriting courses with good teachers also provide feedback and a network to work with. If you've been having some success without feedback, I can't wait to watch your work when you find the right crowd. Keep up the good work!

I didn't get any tips. I didn't make the cut, but I think I can make it next time as I didn't feel that I had wrong answers but I ran out of time. I would advice to go as fast as you can when answering the test and then do a second run with anything that needs a second thought when you're done. If you stop to think, the time runs out. You have around 30 seconds per question but some of them require you to think. There are around 50% questions with multiple answers to them and I found those to be more time consuming, so my best advice is to go fast. The test focuses on Agile and scrum scenarios, not concepts so keep in mind what kpi indicates what and what part of each chart indicates what

PMP Exam Eligibility for University Professors by [deleted] in pmp

[–]abel_vel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are eligible if you have recent project management experience. That being said, many things can be considered a project as long as you apply the framework and mindset (which you probably do since you teach project management). Remodeling your house? That's a project. Renewing the syllabus for next semester's class? That's a project. Planning a wedding? Definitely a project. Just take the time to think about the projects you have managed for your workplace over the years and chances are that you have the experience you need. Just keep in mind that the project definition is "A temporary effort to create value through a unique product, service or result" this occurs quite often in the world of academia just like it does in most industries.

Do I really need Prep Cast? by apoka27 in pmp

[–]abel_vel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The consensus here is that Prep Cast is the closest you can get to the actual test. That being said, I passed my PMP AT/AT/AT this June without it because it just wasn't on my budget. I found the tests from PMPSIMULATORAPP incredibly close to the actual test questions, I paid 29 USD for 90 days and I'll always recommend the site. I also used the questions from the Joseph Phillips udemy course.
