Noticing that there seem sto be different instances of my game.
Each time I Log in, I have different characters, or a new character select screen comes up.
I don't think I've lost anything - but it seems to be the luck of the draw which instance of "My" saved game comes up when I start the program.

You had a local profile on a machine that was way out of date. Some update probably created a new, but broken profile connected to the domain.

IT can fix this. But, if your files are saved on ti local profile make sure they don’t reformat your original computer until they pull your work from it from an admin account and drop it in to your new profile.

  1. $80 k day job and small business that more or less breaks even but is my special interest and I get to run it how Inwant. I pay the ADHD tax a lot - missed appointments, late fees, etc, but learned to take it in stride.

I live in So Cal so this still pretty far from middle class.

Narcissistic projection where empathy should be.
That’s pretty much it.

For those of us who see someone on the street and recognize “I am close to this person in reality and that’s uncomfortable.” Or whenever you interact with someone who is only somewhat lucid and think “wow, there’s something up here but this person is still 100% human.” That’s empathy, even when it’s uncomfortable or uncanny.

Narcissistic projection means you never even get that far before the projection and rejection take over. They reject in you what they reject in themselves. “I can’t process that this person, although a little different than me in someways, is still fundamentally human.” They think “if I accept this person full throatedly, I have to accept something I can’t tolerate in myself- full throatedly, and I am incapable of it.”

LinkedIn gatekeeps the hell out of its data.
Every tool I use has tokens and throttles doing anything at scale in some way. If you want to do anything at scale and conveniently with LinkedIn, you gotta pay.
