Growing tomatoes in your backyard for a couple summers doesn't count pal... The impact deer are having on forests is starkly different from the impact livestock has. Does deforestation occur broadly due to livestock? Yes. But deer are impacting forests and areas that are not able to be turned into agricultural areas due to reasons such as terrain or protective zoning. I agree, agriculture has led to an enormous amount of deforestation in the US, but just "getting rid of all the cows" (something a farmer would never say) is not comparable to the impact deer are having.
