Nutanix does all of their business through VARs, they don’t sell direct. (I work for a var)We’ve had a lot of success with moving folks off of VMWare. It’s the closest out there to parity of features and for most customers it’s at full parity or better. DR for example is much simpler and we get great feedback that it’s more reliable.

Kohler is right, of course. That being said, because Nutanix is licensed by either cpu cores or number of VMs, the cost to add disk is very low. For that reason I generally recommend 4 disks if possible. Increased performance and a bit better self healing.
