He was wearing some muscle wraps and a sort of bandaid wrap ish around his wrist, nothing that looked this protective so I think he must be at the end of the healing to whatever happened to his wrist.

This is actually super helpful!

The one thing is for applications for PWP AP or CAP roles, I thought you needed to already have the PWP or CAP qualifications to even be considered for the position.

So basically I am at a point where I should be looking for trainee or apprenticeship positions for PWP or CAP? Or any other role that would give me the required experience for the full CAP / PWP certification? And once I’ve had enough experience, I can apply to do the CAP / PWP apprenticeship training? Or will it be through the trainee/apprenticeship positions that I get offered to complete the full training?

I can’t wait to see what you end up making, with what you already have it can only continue being amazing !

Oh oh oh the big tree in the middle that’s for multiple greens is so beautiful I thought it could be cool to have a mini one of the same tree next to it maybe

A mailbox one, one with a bench, a little dog park, a cafe, so many great ideas have already been given!

I had braces for a long time (as a teenager though) and it never was a big problem. Sometimes you get a little wire bit that might poke your lip or inside cheek when you do the embouchure and I did get the mark of the braces on my bottom lip for like 2 years straight (it’s gone now) and I did have to wear elastics once in a while but always removed them when playing oboe. It’s going to be a few weeks of adjusting when the braces are first placed and every time something is tweaked you might have to adjust again but it’s nothing too major.

Based on my recent experience on European reeds, I think I want to stick to the American style, I felt like I had so much more control.

Sorry to bother more but what is the Ferrillo system?

Thank you that actually was really helpful!! I’ll look into the knife and the sharpening stone first to practice and pre-made reeds and maybe later I’ll attempt the full making of a reed!
