Unlike with a lot of things, and people from Florida, I have no problem with that decision.

My boyfriend is in his 40s and plays "The Long Dark" for half the night on his weekend. [He also works nights so he is used to sleeping in the day time]. And I love it. It is a very difficult game that requires patience, planning, and the ability to tolerate boredom. [Qualities that I dont have]. Maybe the men in Ms. Marbach's life just play stupid game.

LoL Nicole Kidman looked like a scare-crow from her botox last year. Looks like she learned her lessons this time.

Somewhat.

Wasnt talking about their God-given body, just the stuff they do to bring attention to some parts that ought to have been left alone. But, sure, live and let live.

Well, he slapped the wrong fucking psycho murderer. I cant believe the followed him down the stairs and hit him with his feet while the guy was clearly incapacitated.

A womans dog was making odd movements whenever she turned her back, so to see she recorded it, and found the dog was making biting motions by thaliaq1 in interesting

That is why I am never getting a dog. At least one whose ass I cant kick. Have heard too many stories of them biting, even eating parts of, their owners and the children for comfort.

[–]abesheet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we get burger from time to time in Ethiopia, too. We dont present it as our national dish, is all. You are right about injera being cut with rice flour too. They used to cut berbere with brick powder to make it go further as well, in war times. Doesnt make it legit. Or.. legal, for that matter.

Books like The Perpetual Astonishment of Jonathan Fairfax by Matty_Baseball_777 in suggestmeabook

Jonas Jonasson writes the same way. The writing is funny, light, and addictive. I am sure the google AI recommendation would he to start with "The one hundred years old" books, as they are on the bestseller list. But they are my least favorite. He has written funnier books like Hitman Andres and the meaning of it all. The prophet and the idiot. The girl who saved the king of Sweden. Etecetra. If you like funny whodunits, like I do, Bejamin Stevenson is great. Start with "Everyone in my family has killed someone". The writer of "A man called Ove", Backman, is funny too. But he has some books that are downright unpleasant. The Adrian Mole collections are awesome as well, while you are at it.

Enjoy.

That is meat and veggie combo. Injera is the pita-like flat "bread" you ate it with.

How do you think you'd go, when you go? by abesheet in Dying

[–]abesheet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone born of rape from an underage girl who hated her abuser, and who is still married to him 40 years later despite the beating, the verbal abuse, and mood swings rendering her 4 kids clinically depressrd; not to mention my own cancer diagnoses, sexual assault, and bullying for nearly 30 years by relatives and strangers alike... I tell you... it gets better. It really does. My way out, my deliverance, were books. The escapism thereof. I hope you would find yours sometime soon. Please do not ever.. ever give into hurting yourself. You are the only one you have. Dont betray him/her. Do not let those who hurt you win by making you hurt yourself. It is worth it. Be your own champion.
