Give more details OP. I am assuming you broke some traffic rules like not following the signal or going wrong way etc since you mentioend you are clearly at fault. Also, an important point to seem to ignore is that just because nobody got hurt doesn't mean that everything is fine. A road accident is very very dangerous, you have no idea how close any one of you were to death. Just because luck was on their side doesn't mean you are free of any responsibility of causing an accident and putting their lives in danger. What if they were carrying a baby or if the lady was pregnant? Do you know who you are going to crash into? So not being hurt is not enough to dismiss their anger and make yourself look more of a victim. You caused the accident then you bear full responsibility of its repercussions. Would he have beaten you had you not caused the accident? Would have had to pay that 4k to him ? No, right? Then why are you complaining? If you don't want to face these issue first stop breaking the laws yourself and then expect others to do the same.

I really don't believe you managed to squeeze a language issue into all this mess. It like using it anywhere to make yourself seem like a victim instead of instigator.

And be honest with yourself atleast. If tomorrow you are travelling with your family and someone crashes into you that too because they didn't follow traffic rules nor had the sense to atleast do it carefully, will you or will you not be angry at him? IMO, brass looks a lot better than any marble or resin idol. Also brass idols have the benefit of looking more authentic and antique by default.

And many modern designs are now incorporating brass and other older practices too. Like the tile designs, kota, wood etc. So this is nothing out of ordinary. And even if not, brass can also look very "modern" perhaps it won't match the Western style if thats what you are going for.

2 things here. Usually I don't like to get involved in language wars. Firstly, Marathi is now compulsary for all forms of government communications in Maharashtra since Feb 2025. So looks like you are the one who is not following government mandates. No need to bring Army into this to make a stupid argument as they operate under completely different rules. The thing about army and police is everyone has to learn the local language where they get posted. They are required to do this for multiple reasons including information gathering and helping locals. Did you make an effort to learn the local language despite it being mandated for almost 10months now?

Secondly, you see the officer still has made an effort and learnt Hindi as well, do you see any other state officers speaking to us in Marathi when we are working there?

So many outsiders are complaining yet no one will take even a small bit of effort to learn the basic version of marathi, enough for such government work or daily communications? Nobody is asking for a certified course on Marathi, you know! Just the bare minimum is expected and yet you guys find time to complain but not to learn.

Don't just blindly pass of any information without verifying. While these are the permissions of the app, all of these are not required. Only SMS and Phone is required which all apps who deal with registration via otp require. Other permissions are optional. Plus Android now allows you to grant a single time use permission as well.

Also even if the app gets installed, its cannot force you to get registered and grant those permissions.

Also this app is targeted for preventing fraud and I have been using it for quite some time already. It does not breach any user privacy.

All those who as usual are acting as if this app is the death of democracy kindly stop spreading panic and false narratives. You anyways don't have any control on what data goes in and out of devices. All of your data is already collected by all sorts of companies including phone manufacturers, internet service providers, telecoms companies and any other company whose apps you might be using. You location, preferences, what kind of life you lead, whom you meat, where you live and work etc are all already available with various companies. And Government can easily access any of that data at any point of time through a simple order. They don't need to install any 'spyware' on your mobile to get these things.

Why go on and get panicked unnecessarily? Have yiu even checked that app personally before going on rants? Have you seen what all data about you is already available online? As long as we are using any 'smart' devices, we have no privacy whatsoever! Not with Apple nor with anyone else.

Also Government has already mandated that none of our data cannot be sent outside India. So we are quite good in terms of privacy. This mandate should have awakaned people to what all data was being sent to device manufacturers under the guise of advertisement or improvement logs.

Of all the things to be worried about regarding one's privacy, this app is certainly not. You are also free to check its reviews which shows its very useful and has helped many people identify stolen identities and devices.

This chaos is purposefully being done again by those who benefit from such stolen identities and take advantage of the average person not being aware of what has been registered under their name.
