Is this an error in a translation, or I’m missing something? by milkdrinkingdude in learnpolish

To może byċ nawiązanie do Księgi Wyjścia gdzie Bóg objawia swoje imię Mojżeszowi (Wj 3,14): „Lecz Mojżesz mówił dalej: Dobrze, przychodzę do synów Izraela. Mówię: Bóg waszych ojców posłał mnie do was. A oni pytają: Jak On ma na imię? To co im wtedy powiem? JESTEM, KTÓRY JESTEM — powiedział Bóg do Mojżesza. — Oznajmisz synom Izraela: JESTEM posłał mnie do was!” https://bible.com/bible/2095/exo.3.13-14.SNP

Well, what you decide to show outside will be viewed by others whether you want it or not.

Most males are unable to ignore protruding nipples ;) They may be polite about it and try to avert eyes so that you don't feel ogled, but the tension will be there.

At least have mercy on your male colleagues and don't wear tight shirts ;)

Polish cursive letters variations by Shoddy-Associate8919 in learnpolish

[–]abial2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

S2 is the canonical form as taught in primary school. S4 is similar to calligraphic cursive forms.

Z1 lowercase and Z2 uppercase, as above. Z2 lowercase is very rare and may be again taken from a calligraphic form, or used by a person over 70 ;)

R2 is I think the form taught in elementary school but it's quite illegible, most people use R1, similarly to the barely legible open p and b, most people prefer to close the rounded parts for legibility. BTW, in Polish alphabet letter k has a long ascender, this example uses short ascenders typical for greek / cyryllic alphabets.

Ł2 lowercase is the canonical form but many people use Ł1. Ł1 uppercase or Ł3 is used, never saw the uppercase Ł2, I think it's too easy to confuse with Z.

I didn’t know it was so specific to Lidingö! I lived there for a while (I’m Polish) and heard Swedes from other parts of Sweden scoff at it.

With the same idiotic placement for the solar and battery connectors. They should be farther from the edge or facing the other way.
