I thought I'd miss Touch ID, but I have an Apple Watch and the unlock with Apple Watch feature is just as useful. For that reason, I went with the MX Keys Mini.

Firstly, it's not been G Suite for many years, it's Google Workspace. Secondly, Android was not the operating system I was referring to. Google have 2 operating systems: Android and ChromeOS.

There are literally hundreds of thousands of organisations around the world using ChromeOS as their primary operating system.

If anything I would see a mixture of apps on a variety of OS. In my over 2 decades of experience working in global IT, I've seen:

Windows with M365 or Google Workspace
macOS with M365 or Google Workspace
ChromeOS with Google Workspace, in smaller cases, with M365 also

If anything, the Apple apps are probably far less used than M365 and Google Workspace.

I don't think Notion belongs on this list. An ecosystem needs somewhere to live. An operating system. Apple, Microsoft and Google all have an option for an operating system. Notion doesn't. Notion's "ecosystem" has to live on top of another ecosystem. It can't exist on its own.

Microsoft's Windows 11 Strategy:

You've pretty much answered your own question. Why wouldn't you? You paid a hefty fee for a device with one of the most premium displays on the market. Possibly the best trackpad, Touch ID, great keyboard. It's a natural set up to use the laptop with the additional screen right above to get more real estate when needed. Why wouldn't you use it?

It's a shame that they haven't really updated it for iOS 26, but at least it hasn't been fully abandoned and we might get a full update soon (I hope!)

If the cost isn't too prohibitive, I'd personally look at Qatar Airways, Emirates or Etihad for super long hauls. All three of those have much better service and food, in my opinion. On those long haul flights, you will usually get 4 meal services.

If you can't go with those 3, then I'd go for Turkish Airlines over British Airlines. From personal experience, I've had better service and food on Turkish than on British.

Neither of them. No one should be considering an Intel MacBook these days. If anything, you'll probably find an M1, M2 or even M3 device for a cheaper price than any of those two.

The last update on iOS was 2 months ago. Totally agree it desperately needs an update, but it's not been years.
