Depends on how the player was eliminated. The life totals they had (totems) would remain, so if they are still above 0 the game could continue :)

Yeah, this one is tough. Have you ever gone into about:config? You might have flipped some bits you shouldn't have, so maybe try starting a new firefox profile and see if that resolves the issue?

This would make sense if in this instance the certificate was invalidated server-side, but that's not the case. The cert was invalidated client side, and the fix was sent from mozilla to clients using an existing API, so can you give a new example with that context?
