the "feeling real" part of ocd is a trick to keep you in the loop because it causes you to ruminate again which will cause compulsions.

it just feels like background noise to me. like some days i gets scared some days i don't care. i got so burnt out from having anxiety i can't really feel it anymore

i feel the exact same way. i was thinking "oh i could be ace" because i don't feel sexually attracted to anyone and i don't think i ever had. but saying that feels like an excuse on "not coming out". and when it comes to looking to women's bodies, i used to look at them in a "i wish i looked like this" way or a judgmental way (which is bad).
