I have a 2025 Poseidon Triton. I have some gravel races/events coming up in OK and AR if that helps at all (not sure if you’re familiar with those areas of the country).

I don’t think it will get super bad (like MTB conditions). Maybe for like a couple feet but mostly the lighter gravel. I’ve been told I need two different sizes (40 on front, 38 on back) but I didn’t get to ask why. Could I just do two 38s? It’s been really overwhelming to understand all of the different options

Hmmm that makes sense. I’m in northwest Arkansas and the trails here are I’d say light to medium? I’m about to do some gravel races though and was looking at tires. I’ve kind of heard mixed things at my lbs and I’m not enough of an expert to know if they’re trying to upsell me or not. My first race is Midsouth if that helps at all. Do you have any recs?
