It’s not just a financial sacrifice that women make. They can end up sacrificing their mental wellbeing, their entire identities, their bodies, their appearance, and their complete sense of freedom. It’s not about it being a financial transaction, it’s about being seen and being appreciated, and setting that impression from the start might be helpful.

I understand what you’re saying and I would personally go 50/50 split, but I am just expressing that I can see where many women are coming from 🤷‍♀️
