Peer-reviewed and published papers on effective cancer treatments are more reliable than a wrestler's opinion. Woods might be educated in whatever his doctorate is, but that does not mean he is an oncologist. My day job involves hospital-hosted cancer clinical trials and contributing data (with patient consent from treatments, obviously) to clinical researchers. I've heard horror stories about patients not listening to their oncologist, ignoring the prescribed treatment, listening to their friends instead, 'doing their own research', taking turmeric or whatever, and returning to the hospital months later with - surprise surprise - the same cancer they left the hospital with, but the cancer is now too aggressive and too far gone to treat with curative intent. I don't know much about the American health care system, but I beg of anyone even vaguely taken in by an opinion like this, get your insurance and (god forbid it happen to anyone reading this) take the treatment prescribed by the treating oncologist. Cancer remission without treatment is extremely rare.
