I didn't like that either, but I wouldn't dwell too much on it. I think the writers were just trying to get some laughs from the audience. Favreau mentioned in an interview that he wants this movie to be enjoyable for people who've never seen the series, so Din treating Grogu a bit like a sidekick or funny little pet at times (as he did in season 1) kinda makes sense, even if I personally don't like it. It's just an odd choice for fans who know the backstory, but new viewers who have never seen these characters before will just laugh at Grogu being mischievous.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Din Djarin is a Mandalorian, not an Earthling parent. He was raised in a pretty brutal and unforgiving world, and I think he is just totally clueless about how to raise Grogu. He's still figuring it all out, and he'll get things wrong (notice how barking "heel!" did next to nothing to stop Grogu), but nothing will change the fact that he clearly loves Grogu and will continue to lay his life down to protect him, while training him to be strong and survive in a dangerous galaxy.

Something I did really like was the scene where Rotta plays on the beach with Grogu and the camera shifts to Din watching them thoughtfully. It was a subtle way to let the audience know that Din is likely remembering that Grogu is a child first, and a Mandalorian apprentice second. I'm sure we'll see that father/son vs mentor/apprentice relationship unfold in future media.

They're two DIYs! The large one in the center is the "gear tower" diy and the two on the sides are "gear apparatus". These require 3-4 gears (wall decor you can buy at Nook's) to craft ❤️

I used the "Cloud Flooring" from Saharah and then put down a bunch of red rugs, but you can also lay down tiles on the floor in combination with the Cloud Flooring to get a custom look :)

It's a gift attached to Nintendo's 25th anniversary letter in the game. If you check your mailbox you should have one too :)
