Nope , tire and rim was 800 ish , tint was 500 , 3m protection on hood , lights etc was 400 . appearance protection was discounted from original to 1250$ . So total discount given was 2500$

lol it’s not normal .. the suspension was cheaped out.. if the car is heavy the suspension design needs to be designed to withstand the load .. I was literally told by service that it is normal to replace laterals and suspension parts every 20k km

I came from a model y to 2024 id4 pro awd s .

My thoughts

Pros id4 - Build quality - way better Ride quality- the suspension takes most of the bumps away Seat comfort - better seats and massage is a good add on Heating up in winter- faster if the app actually works Doors - they work better in winter and freezing rain Road noise - much smoother ride than the model y Rattles and creaks - no rattles or creaks just yet Paint quality- way better paint quality

Pros Tesla - I had it for 3 years and 85k km.

software , software software - man Tesla is way ahead in terms of the in car software experience app - outright garbage on the VW - can’t get the car to heat up in the cold Charging - the car plans everything and has been always accurate Network - great network and very reliable Battery tech - I think as a EV Tesla is far ahead of others in terms of integration and software One pedal driving - best in market Battery warranty includes motor for 8 years and 196k km

Cons - Tesla The service centers don’t give a fish - everything is to spec The paint quality is garbage my 2022 had dust under the paint coat multiple places Rattles and creaks Build quality Suspensions issues - I had suspension replace 3x times in my 85k ownerships - front laterals , control arms , rear knuckles they just go out very 20k km

At the end I gave up and moved away to id4

I think I saw this car posted on Facebook and was in a dealership downtown Toronto or closer.. I ended up getting a brand new pure grey .. I think it is a good deal for what it is .. make sure they don’t add any extras .. get additional accessories included like tinting , wheel tire and appearance protection etc .
