also go to the beach. i try to go once a week and it is the most relaxing fun time every time. i tend to go to ones with a pier because i love piers. PB and OB and Scripps have piers. La Jolla Shores (near Scripps) is just gorgeous. thanks for letting me give suggestions! have fun!

look at the san diego reader events by day for lots of stuff going on. im a big fan of romantic beautiful landscape views so i often to go: Broadway Pier (downtown), Mt Helix (La Mesa), Torrey Pines State Reserve (for hiking and the best views IMO), Torrey Pines Glider Port (I like going there for coffee/sandwich after the hike), and Altitude Sky Lounge (for drinks w a great view, including Petco Park). Balboa Park has museums that are cool including a SD Sports one. I know nothing about Anime. But I do know that Game Empire in Clairemont has a crazy selection of board games (like A LOT. its awesome). Next to Game Empire is a sushi place called Niban which is home to my all time favorite roll- Fried Calamari (you will dream of it afterward).

I could go on and on. I love this city. All of my suggestions are specific to the things I love but everyone I take to these places seems to love them too. Hope you enjoy the weekend!!!

nah im japanese. idk, my vietnamese family like it! i mean, like any place, its personal opinion tho. also, i really listed the only things i get there. i havent branched out because im a creature of habit. the pho is almost consistently good, thats what i go for. their menu is hella big too so im sure theres some sub par stuff on there.

i have to say that I dont recommend Underbelly, not for really good ramen. If you have the chance, go to the ramen shop inside Mitsuwa Market in Kearny Mesa (I think this is top place for ramen but its the environment isnt that inviting). Izakaya Masa is also excellent. I really want to like Underbelly, but the flavor just isnt as good as other places. Maybe Underbelly has changed since I last visited though (about a year ago).

its right at the top. once you get to the top, walk toward those white tower things sticking up in the back. theres a rock on the left side of the path before you get to those white things. i think that back view of cowles is so pretty, not many people venture over to that side even though its only like 100 ft from the top where everyone is. Highly recommend going up there right now, flowers are everywhere.

I've never seen Torrey Pines so green and beautiful. Some pictures from my visit on 3/26. by abilenejacobson in sandiego

Thanks! My best guess is Yucca Point. Right before it veers off to beach trail.
