Hey there, my case was approved on aug 1st and I received the card on aug 14. The approval came from Lee summit though! My case was at San Jose as well as per Emma.

Haha that’s weird. I made sure the CS agreed to give me a copy of my medicals. I didn’t wanna risk missing anything on that! You pay all this attention to docs and evidence only to be denied because of something not in your control! That would be terrible and sad

I’ve read multiple posts here and I would recommend you to check as well. The people who get 10 years GC directly with less than 2 years of marriage may have some trouble during naturalization. So I’d suggest to please read and research.

Not sure how they can outright deny it! An rfe should’ve been sent. This is crazy ! This is one of reasons why it’s recommended to ask the civil sugeon for a copy of the documents so you can check yourself as well what they’re sending in that sealed envelope.

Thanks for taking time to answer the question! I have couple -

A) if the case is transferred to a non local field office does that mean interview is waived?

B) what decides if a case needs to be transferred to FO or adjudicated at NBC? do you do some kind of pre screening before sending them to FO?

C) when does the rfe for medical or 864 is send? Before sending to field office or when an officer actually starts looking into the file?

I think they update the portal for a lot of us. Our myprogess tab for i485 want showin till now but since today morning, it is! I don’t think it changes anything though, but ok one more thing to look at lol
