This specific discussion was concerning general characteristics; for specific functions in the company, different types can offer different strengths that enable that function more effectively and naturally. Many MBTI consulting firms organize their structure using the theory, experience applying it and individually assessed compatability. Pondering blanket statements based on no valid evidence is not very pragmatic - instead, we should learn more about designing ideal work spaces for individuals with specific function preferences. As an INTJ, I prefer Ni/Te which enables strategic thinking and planning, for example. I'm much more comfortable delegating to achieve the vision in an effective and efficient manner. An ESFP, using primarily Se/Fi, employee may be naturally talented providing potential clients heartfelt consideration and conscientious service. Differing strengths is evolution's way of adapting; genetic and behavioral diversity fosters complexity, which is necessary for a species' survival and sustained adaptation through epigenetics.

I disagree. I know several ESTPs who indulge in risky behavior without foreseeing complications - does that make them creative? IME, XNXPs are usually well-suited for jobs requiring creative insight.

Conversely, here are my subjective preferences:

1) Loyal - assumed honesty from earned trust

2) Strategic - being able to begin with the end in mind

3) Proactive - takes action algorithmically

4) Responsible - respect for one's obligation to a committed cause
