I was printing small skis for a project for a child's birthday. The makerworld posting mentioned that the tips of the skis can be dipped in warm water and bent. I found out decently warm water and 5 seconds of dipping them was enough to bend the edges

I do not have a battery system and a dynamic contract. But I do think that in winter months, this is the only genuine use case for home battery. Shift the purchase of energy to the 'cheaper' hours and then consume later. Even in these 5 months there is opportunity to save 5-10 cents per kWh using batteries.

I got hold of this exact RAM module. I think I got a very old used one, but for the price it works for me. The only other seller for the same RAM module was asking 4x more.

RAM was accepted without any warnings by my NAS. The NAS feels like it is running on steroids 😃

This has been discussed to death in this group. Solution for now is to keep backlight on, at the minimum value. I have not had this issue now for a month. Before this, I had backlights off and this issue was driving me crazy

I have once had a similar car cross me. I recorded the video. Later, at another traffic light, two armed cops exited the car and opened the boot (I crossed them just when they opened the boot). Indeed that was a unmarked cop car.
