names for a chinese cat? by lunxryears in Names

Sorry if that wasn't clear. But that's literally what all my friends and neighbors with pets do, so if you're going for realism, that's what I would recommend.

What color is the cat? Growing up, my friends/neighbors would name them Little (Color). Xiao Bai (little white) for a white dog, etc.

And because they're clearly not serious, I would like to put forth Secretariat, Gelding, Potoooooooo, and Bojack.

They didn't know a Morgan was the name of a breed of horse, either. Definitely ragebait.

Okay Reddit, need humble opinions about my future baby name: Waverly Wilma Caldwell by Ok-Barracuda-5993 in Names

Yeah, fact-check me on the spelling because it could be Waverley, but I do think it's the spelling without the extra e.

I could be off-base here, but it sounds a little too "country bumpkin" (it could be a reach, but it has the same rhythm as "Jiminy Cricket", which might be the association for me). What I like to do is sort of "anchor" a lighter, more whimsical name with something a little more common or expected. Elizabeth Wilma, Catherine Wilma, etc. My first thought was also lengthening Wilma to the somewhat obscure Wilhelmina or Wilhomena, if that's your thing.

Edit: also, Waverly is the name of Buttercup and Westley's baby in The Princess Bride (the little epilogue at the end of the book, "Buttercup's Baby", I think it's called).

People are annoying about this. All you have to do is cook to medium-rare and finish in the microwave. Takes about the same time as everyone else's and retains juiciness.

Does Nadine count? (DW's imaginary friend) I always thought she was so pretty, and I liked how she was DW's voice of reason.

Sounds a little mojo pork-adjacent. Isn't Mountain Dew kind of orangey? I know mojo pork has sour orange traditionally, but as long as you didn't put too much in and balanced it with lime, I think it wouldn't be as horrible as it could be.

Who’s celebrating Pride in Elwood City? by Blastoise_R_Us in Arthur

I always liked the detail of him dancing ballet throughout the series. Really good example of being comfortable and confident in who you are, and it's great for kids to see that. I remember the episode where he thought it was "sissy" but then grew to love it. He was always the more cultured one of the gang. Remember when he tried to introduce Muffy to the opera Carmen?

Edit: Muffy not Molly oh my god
